Lemon Butter Fillet
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 6 fillets cod
- 2 tablespoons lemon pepper
Preparation:
Preheat your oven at 350 degrees F. Heat a saucepan at medium heat and melt butter. Add garlic, lemon juice, salt, pepper and parsley. Boil the mixture and stir for 10 minutes until it thickens. Put the fillets on a baking sheet, cover with half of the sauce you cooked before, sprinkle lemon pepper over it and cover it with foil. Put the fillet in the oven, and test the fish with a fork; if it flakes easily, then it is done. Pour the rest of the butter sauce on the fillet and serve it.
